Warren Cormier
Founder and President of Boston Research Group
Warren Cormier has more than 25 years of quantitative and qualitative experience in financial services research for retail and institutional investment companies, banks, and insurance companies with particular focus on retirement assets. He has served as Director of Research for both Shawmut Corporation and Bank of Boston and was a partner at Temple, Barker & Sloane. Mr. Cormier is recognized as a market research leader in the Defined Contribution industry. In 2006 was voted one of the Top 20 Most Influential People in the Defined Contribution Industry. Mr. Cormier is also the creator of the DCP 2000-2008 plan sponsor satisfaction and market dynamics studies, which have become the standard for service quality and trend measurement in the 401(k) arena. In 2007, Mr. Cormier co-founded the Behavioral Finance Forum with a mission to foster collaboration between the world’s leading behavioral finance academics and financial institutions to help consumers make better financial decisions.
Ted Grannatt
Partner, McCarter & English, LLP
Ted Grannatt is a partner of McCarter & English, LLP, one of the oldest law firms in the U.S., where he is a member of the firm’s Corporate, Securities and Financial Institutions practice. Most recently, he has been advising issuers in connection with crowd-funding, non-U.S. based capital in connection with private equity investments in the United States, working with domestic investment advisers and advising domestic and non-U.S. broker dealers in connection with their U.S. obligations when taking part in transactions that concern the United States.
Michael Koehn
Co-Founder, Analysis Group, Inc.
Michael Koehn is co-founder and member of the Board of Directors of Analysis Group, Inc., which provides economic, financial, and business strategy consulting to businesses, law firms, and government agencies. Mr. Koehn was formerly President and Director of Research at Analytic Investment Management, an investment firm managing both option-enhanced equity and fixed income strategies for defined benefit clients and retail mutual funds. Mr. Koehn has done extensive research into the economics of financial institutions, primarily mutual funds. His current research focuses on the design and implementation of sustainable spending rules for retirees and the management of those assets that are necessary to support retirees.
J.C. Massar
Former Chariman, The Capital Group
JC. Massar is the retired Chairman of The Capital Group, an American Funds company. During his more than 20 years with Capital Group, Mr. Massar led the successful implementation of numerous initiatives, including global mutual funds and variable annuity products, and U.S. retirement plans, among others. The retirement plan initiative he launched in 1993 now includes over 12 million U.S. households with more than $600 billion in assets. He also served on American Funds’ Board of Directors. Prior to Capital Group, Mr. Massar held senior marketing positions with Transamerica, Robert C. Brown/Pacific Securities, and Standard Life.
Len Reinhart
Former President and Founder, Lockwood Companies
Len Reinhart is recognized as one of the founders of the managed account industry. Mr. Reinhart was the President and founder of the Lockwood Companies and a Managing Director and member of the Executive Committee of Pershing LLC. Lockwood provides an investment consulting platform to independent financial advisors and broker/dealers. Currently, he is Chairman and CEO of WealthCare Capital, a Registered Investment Advisor that uses a unique goals-driven investment strategy. Prior to founding Lockwood in 1995, Mr. Reinhart was President of the Consulting Group of Smith Barney, the firm’s investment management consulting division. Under his leadership, the Consulting Group dominated its market, ultimately gathering more than $70 billion in assets under management and serving over 200,000 clients. Mr. Reinhart helped found and served as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Money Management Institute (MMI) and also serves on the Advisory Board of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).
Evan Schulman
President, Tykhe, LLC
Evan Schulman is President and founder of Tykhe, LLC. Tykhe created, and received a patent for, Sales Certificates, a financial instrument which allows entities to raise capital by securitizing revenues. Evan’s career in the asset management and financial technology industries spans 40 years, much of which is documented in the books “Super Traders” (Alan Rubenfeld, Irwin Books, 1992) and “How I became a Quant” (Richard Lindsey and Barry Schachter, John Wiley & Sons, 2007). Prior to Tykhe, Evan was Co-founder and Chairman of Upstream Technologies, a leading technology provider to portfolio managers, including those at some of the world’s largest financial firms. Upstream was acquired by CheckFree Services Corporation (now Fiserv, NASDAQ: FISV) in 2007. Prior to Upstream, Evan co-founded Lattice Trading, an advanced Alternative Trading System integrating order-matching with order-routing and connecting to global computerized markets, including the New York Stock Exchange, the London Stock Exchange and NASDAQ. Lattice was acquired by State Street Global Advisors in 1996. Evan has been referred to as one of the “fathers of electronic trading” and in 1975, as Director of Computer Research at Keystone Funds in Boston, he completed what is generally regarded as the first equity program trade. During the ’80s, Evan led the effort to develop computerized investment and trading systems at Batterymarch Financial Management.

Jud is one of the leading marketing minds in financial services and has partnered with firms to help ignite their digital presence, better connect their message with their target marketing and grow their sales funnels. Jud is also a 2020 InvestmentNews 40 under 40 winner.
John Wernz
Executive Consultant, Wealth Enhancement Group
John Wernz is an Executive Consultant at Wealth Enhancement Group, where he was previously EVP and CMO. At Wealth Enhancement Group, John was responsible for oversight of the core business and growth initiatives – including the company’s national expansion into Illinois and Texas and the growth of its B2B offering. He helped pioneer a model within the financial industry where marketing drives business directly to advisors. Prior to WEG, John was partner and Chief Advertising Officer at Marketing Architects. While there, he helped pioneer another model within the ad industry: a technology-based solution that allowed measured marketing using radio and TV. John was also previously selected by Direct Marketing News for its 40 Under 40 awards.
