BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–LifeYield, the fintech leader in tax-efficient investing and income optimization, announced today the promotions of two product leaders to its senior management team and its adoption of Amazon Web Services for cloud computing.

Savitha Vaddireddy (Gopu) and Walt Butler have been named vice presidents of product development, reporting to Martin Cowley, executive vice president and chief product officer.

“Walt’s and Savitha’s promotions reflect the quality and volume of their contributions to solutions that enable our enterprise customers to expand their businesses and accelerate asset collection by limiting tax drag on client portfolios, automating advisor tasks, and expanding their products and services,” Cowley said.

Vaddireddy joined LifeYield as a senior quality assurance engineer shortly after its founding 14 years ago and has distinguished herself by leading multicultural teams through complex software development projects. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer applications and an M.Sc. in information systems from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India.

Butler has over 25 years of experience designing and building software applications, mainly in the investment technology industry. At LifeYield, Butler works closely with clients to capture their technology goals and translate those into designs for LifeYield’s engineering teams. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Kent State University.

“LifeYield APIs for tax efficiency and income optimization are central to our customers’ business plans and their ability to increase assets under management,” Cowley said. “In their new roles, and as members of our senior team, Savitha and Walt will be central to LifeYield’s continued growth and the success of our enterprise customers.”

LifeYield also announced the completion of its transition to Amazon Web Services, providing scalability, operational efficiency, and stronger integrations of LifeYield APIs into comprehensive advice platforms at leading financial services companies.

Finally, LifeYield announced that Steve Zuschin, formerly executive vice president of business development, has left the company to become chief revenue officer of Mammoth Technologies. Steve contributed significantly to our growth over the past five years and remains a friend and informal advisor. We thank him and wish him well in his new role.
